Located at art space, Trans-Pecos, this workshop is FREE to participants.

Foundations 2: Storytelling

Divided into two 3-hour sessions, this workshop bridges the work begun in Foundations 1 (which reinforced existing language skills with subconscious connection, imagery, musicality and physical presence) with structured language and narrative.

How do you use the language you already know to tell a story that reveals something of yourself?  What are the building blocks of a strong narrative and how can they help you navigate through uncertainty in both formal and informal situations?  How can you use storytelling to draw in your listeners when speaking in public?

In these sessions you will take on the roles of listener and narrator, and learn how to build on the momentum of a conversation through collaborative dialog.  Ultimately you will find yourself more relaxed and capable in a variety of social situations where your contributions matter.
